The Departments of Marine Affairs (MAF), Environmental and Natural Resource Economics (ENRE), and Sociology/Anthropology (SOC/ANTH) at the University of Rhode Island seek a tenure-track, academic-year, Assistant Professor in Sustainable Coastal Tourism and Recreation beginning in fall of 2015. The appointment will be in either MAF or ENRE, but potentially will include teaching cross-listed courses in SOC/ANTH. The duties include developing an internationally-recognized research program in sustainable tourism and recreation, with a focus on coastal environmental and cultural resources and sustainable development. Review of applications will begin on January 20, 2015. Full consideration will be given to applications received by January 20, 2015; second consideration may be given to applications received by February 20, 2015.
