Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Strategic Data Project (SDP) housed at the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University partners with a range of education organizations to transform the use of data in education to improve student achievement. Current partners include more than 60 school districts, charter management organizations, state education agencies, and nonprofit organizations.

The SDP Fellowship is a two-year program that develops and supports talented data strategists in education agencies to have an immediate impact on policy and management decisions that can improve student outcomes. Fellows help partner agencies breakthrough strategic issues that benefit from robust analysis. Upon acceptance to the program, Fellows are immediately placed in full-time analytic leadership roles reporting to a cabinet-level position (e.g. Chief of Data and Accountability, Chief Academic Officer or other top executives) within the organization. As a group, SDP Fellows will form a network of data strategists committed to impacting education reform through research and data.

Benefits of the Fellowship include a salary ranging from $80,000 - 90,000; ongoing professional development and support, including a $2,000 professional development stipend; access to Harvard-based faculty, researchers, and policymakers throughout the duration of the program, and the opportunity to lead analytic, policy-oriented projects.
