We seek a candidate with a PhD in Economics to help us expand our undergraduate course offerings in the areas of Public, Environment and Resource, Development, and/or Industrial Organization. We have a preference for candidates with an interest in applied work in developing economies. The successful candidate will participate in the direction and development of our Economics major and minor. The position is non-tenure track, but continuing based on annual performance reviews.

SSPS is an interdisciplinary department. For more information, see http://www.wpi.edu/+ssps. WPI is located one hour west of Boston.

Applicants should submit a cover letter that briefly explains the nature of their interest in this position, a CV, a personal statement that includes a description of teaching philosophy, evidence of teaching ability (such as teaching evaluations), and the names of at least three references who will submit letters of recommendation. We will begin reviewing applications on December 20, in preparation for interviewing selected candidates at the ASSA meetings in Boston at the start of January.
