Full Text of JOE Listing:

This is a full time tenure-track or tenured position in International Trade and Emerging/Developing Economies The successful candidate will carry out research mainly in the field of International Trade in conjunction with Emerging/Developing Economies. Teaching might also include general courses in economics. The applicant must show evidence of a high potential for successful research on the connection between international trade and, e.g., firm demography, technological change, labor market including labor conditions and worker mobility within or between sectors. The consequences of international trade on sustainable development with respect to poverty, inequality, the allocation of natural resources and the environment are also fields of specialization that will be considered with interest. We will be interviewing at the ASSA meetings in Boston. Candidates for interviews should apply through AcademicJobsOnline by December 15th.
