The School of Business at West Virginia Wesleyan College is searching for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics, beginning August 2015. Teaching assignments will include both principle and upper-level economics courses. All faculty are expected to participate in assessment of student learning, advising, and school and college-level administrative governance. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. by time of appointment.

The teaching load is eight courses per year (three preps per semester.) Options to teach during summer and in the MBA program may also be available. Successful candidates will provide evidence of teaching excellence, especially with regards to interdisciplinary learning and commitment to business applications of economics.
