Vacancy #: 15F065

The Department of Economics and Finance has an opening for a tenure-track assistant professor. Specialization in one or all of the fields listed above is desired. However, outstanding candidates with other specializations will be considered. We expect the successful candidate to begin in August 2015 with a completed doctorate (ABDs considered). Candidates must be capable of excellent/dynamic teaching, developing a strong research agenda, and teaching a variety of courses to enhance the B.S. degree in business economics and the traditional B.A. degree.

To apply, please visit http://consensus.uncw.edu. A letter of interest, curriculum vita, and contact information for three professional references, including e-mail addresses, should be addressed to the Economics Search Committee and attached to the online application system—not e-mailed, mailed, or faxed. Priority consideration will be given to applications received by December 14, 2014, but applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Letters of reference and academic transcripts will be requested of those candidates invited to interview at the AEA meetings.

UNC Wilmington actively fosters a diverse and inclusive working and learning environment and is an equal-opportunity employer. Qualified men and women from all racial, ethnic or other minority groups are strongly encouraged to apply.
