The Economics Department invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning August 2015. USNA is a service academy and top tier liberal arts college with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in faculty teaching and research. Candidates for macroeconomics or game theory are preferred. Candidates should have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and to producing high-quality peer-reviewed research. They should be willing to teach econometrics, as well as courses in line with their professional research. Teaching load is typically 3 courses per semester with small section sizes (10-25 students) and 2-3 preps per year. Candidates should expect to complete their Ph.D. by August 1, 2015.
