The Department of Economics of the Bryan School of Business & Economics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro invites applications to fill one tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level, beginning August 2015. This position is subject to budget availability.

Our department offers an undergraduate degree, a M.A. degree in Applied Economics, and a Ph.D. Our M.A. program offers concentrations in Data Analytics and Policy Analysis. Additionally, the department contributes to both the undergraduate business core and the MBA core. The research focus of our faculty is on analysis and policy in the fields of environmental, health, labor, and technology/innovation.

Applicants should have an outstanding academic record, demonstrate a strong potential for creative research and teaching, and complete a Ph.D. prior to August 2015. We are particularly interested in candidates who will contribute to teaching and research in applied microeconomics in the fields of technology and innovation, environmental, labor, health, or public.

The Bryan School of Business & Economics has over 3,450 undergraduate and graduate students and more than 100 full- and part-time faculty members housed in six departments. Accredited in both business and accounting by AACSB, the Bryan School is the recipient of many honors and accolades. Our evening MBA was ranked 10th nationally in academic quality by Bloomberg Businessweek (2013), and 13th across all dimensions among all universities.
