The Department of Finance at Copenhagen Business School is seeking new faculty members and calls for expressions of interest for tenure-track assistant professorship within the areas of entrepreneurial finance and/or private equity and venture capital. The position is in part funded by a special initiative directed by Professor Morten Sørensen and carries a very low teaching obligation.

Job Qualifications: Candidates should have obtained or be close to completing a PhD in finance or a related discipline and must be able to document a strong research potential within entrepreneurial finance and/or private equity and venture capital.

About CBS and the Department: Copenhagen Business School is one of the largest European business schools with 20,000 students. The school offers a wide variety of programs at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels. The Department of Finance consists of 30 faculty members and 20 PhD students, comprising 14 different nationalities. The department provides an attractive and stimulating research environment with excellent research funding and data access. Salaries are competitive with other European schools, and researchers relocating to Denmark from abroad may qualify for a 32% taxation rate.
