The Department of Economics at the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics invites applications for a tenure-track position in Applied Econometrics at the assistant or advanced assistant professor level beginning September 2015. We are looking for candidates with demonstrated potential for and commitment to high quality research and excellent teaching at the undergraduate, M.A., and Ph.D. levels. The successful applicant is expected to teach Econometrics at the Ph.D. and lower levels. Applicants with research interests in one of the Ph.D. program’s fields, Health, Environmental or International Economics, and/or a desire to participate in the University’s Carsey School of Public Policy or Data Analytics initiative are especially encouraged to apply. Candidates should be able to complete a Ph.D. in economics by August 2015. To be considered for an interview at the January 3-5, 2015 AEA meetings in Boston, send a curriculum vitae, a research paper, a brief statement of teaching philosophy, official summaries of teaching evaluations, official graduate transcripts, and three reference letters at the latest by November 30, 2014. All materials must be submitted electronically in pdf format to econometrics.search@unh.edu. Application review is to begin November 15 and to continue until the position is filled.
