The Department of Economics and Business, School of Business and Social Sciences, Aarhus University, invites applications for a number of (tenure track) positions as assistant professor in Economics and Finance from the Fall of 2015. Applicants should have a PhD degree before taking up the position. Major responsibilities include teaching of BSc, MSc and PhD students in Economics or Finance, and research within those fields. The working language at the department is English. Research and teaching at the Department of Economics and Business focus on theory and applications within macroeconomics, microeconomics, econometrics, accounting, finance, logistics and economics of business.
The duration of the assistant professorship is five years. Research facilities, time to devote to research, travel support, etc., are very good. For non-Danish researchers favourable tax-schemes exist. The Department is host to several research centres providing an active research environment with ample influx of visiting fellows.
The Department of Economics and Business services several undergraduate and Master-level programs. The PhD programme has an annual intake of around 20-25 students and currently the number of PhD students in Economics and Business is about 75. More information is available at .
