The Department of Economics within the John H. Sykes College of Business at The University of Tampa invites applications for a tenure track position in Economics available fall 2015, at the Assistant Professor level. The Sykes College of Business is AACSB accredited.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Economics before the start date. A demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence is required. The applicant will also be expected to actively participate in student service and maintain an active record of relevant scholarship.

The successful applicant will teach Principles of Microeconomics or Principles of Macroeconomics in our undergraduate program. The opportunity exists to teach other applied microeconomics courses that match the applicant’s interests. Preferred fields include Experimental Economics and Behavioral Economics. The teaching load is three (3) courses per semester (12 credit hours).
