The Department of Economics at West Virginia University invites applications for a non-tenure track, full-time position as Visiting faculty member (any rank) that begins August 16, 2015. This may be either for one academic year (2015-2016) or two academic years (2015-2016 and 2016-2017). A successful candidate will be expected to teach two courses per semester and to participate in activities sponsored by the Center for Free Enterprise (CFE) in the College of Business and Economics. These activities include graduate student reading groups, research seminars, and CFE-sponsored lectures for undergraduates. Consideration will be given to candidates' interests in communicating the free-market perspective to a broad audience.

WVU is located in Morgantown, WV and is the State's comprehensive Land Grant University with an enrollment of nearly 30,000 students and a Carnegie Classification - High Research. The Department of Economics is part of the AACSB-accredited College of Business and Economics and offers a PhD in the discipline.
