The Department of Health Policy at Vanderbilt’s School of Medicine is searching for Assistant and Associate Professor candidates.
Faculty interests include health care financing and coverage; aging and long-term care; quality, safety, and delivery system improvement; provider payment; health services research; pharmacoepidemiology; cancer epidemiology; and infectious diseases.
Department offers MPH degree and Master of Science in Clinical Investigation (MSCI) instruction; doctoral program is planned. Successful applicants must be excited to develop educational and research programs in collegial / collaborative environment.
Applicant qualifications:
PhD in economics, health services research, statistics, public policy, public health, or related field;
Demonstrated expertise in health policy research; and
Potential to attract external research funding.
Candidates for tenured full Professor and candidates with MD/MPH also encouraged to apply.
