The School of Economics has a long-standing tradition of Macroeconomics research and teaching and incorporates the Centre for International Macroeconomic Studies (CIMS) (http://www.surrey.ac.uk/economics/research/groups/centreinternationalmacro).

As part of an exciting strategic initiative to consolidate the School’s position as a top Economics department in the UK and CIMS’s position as a leading macroeconomics centre, we are looking to make one appointment at Professorial or Reader level in the general field of Macroeconomics, from July 2015.

Candidates should have already established a track record of publishing in top international journals. Candidates with successful bidding for external funding are particularly welcome. We encourage applications from candidates in all areas of Macroeconomics.
