Full Text of JOE Listing:
The Department of Economics seeks applications to fill one tenure-track position at its campus in Mexico City starting August 2015. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in economics from an accredited institution by August 2015. Candidates are expected to provide evidence of potential to develop an outstanding record of scholarly research in their field. Ideally the new hire will conduct empirical research in one or more of the following applied microeconomics areas: behavioral economics, development, education, health, industrial organization, labor economics, and public finance.
The Department offers undergraduate and MSc programs in economics. Candidates are expected to provide quality teaching at these levels. Expected teaching load is two courses per year.
We will interview applicants at the AEA/ASSA meeting in Boston.
