Hunan University (Est. 976, Changsha, China) is a national “985 project” university. The College of Finance and Statistics of Hunan University comprises of five teaching departments in Monetary Finance, Applied Finance, Financial Engineering, Risk Management and Insurance, Statistics. We are now recruiting full-time faculty including, but not limited to, Finance, Financial Engineering, Insurance Actuary, Statistics, Econometrics, and Quantitative Economics. Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in the relevant field by August 2015, and non-Chinese origin should have basic Chinese communication skills. The University will provide competitive salary, excellent benefits, supportive research environment, startup research fund and housing subsidy. We will conduct interviews at the 2015 AEA meeting in Boston.
