Metropolitan State University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor of Economics for Fall 2015. We require a Ph.D. in Economics, Applied Economics or a closely related discipline and evidence of teaching success. Excellent candidates in all areas of economics will be considered. The candidate must demonstrate evidence of quality teaching, potential for successful economic research and experience working with diverse populations. The College of Management offers undergraduate degrees in economics and business disciplines and several graduate degrees. Interested candidates should submit their current vita, letter of interest, a one page statement of teaching philosophy, a transcript, and names and contact information for four (4) references.
