Located in Madrid, CUNEF was established in 1973 by the Spanish Banking Association with the objective to train leaders in Finance and Business Administration. CUNEF offers undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Law, as well as master degrees in Finance and Banking.

CUNEF’s Business department is seeking candidates to fill several tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level.

The Business department especially welcomes applications in Marketing, Strategy, Organizational Economics, Business Economics, Law and Economics, and Industrial Organization. Priority will be given to candidates with a strong empirical research agenda—particularly in contracting and design of incentives and governance structures in supply chains, distribution channels, and strategic alliances, as well as vertical integration.

Successful candidates will be expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and to publish their research in leading scientific journals. Since CUNEF offers several courses in English, knowledge of Spanish is not required.

The positions will start in September 2015. Applicants should have completed a PhD, or be scheduled to do so, before being appointed. We will be conducting job market interviews at the 2015 ASSA Meetings in Boston, and at the 2014 “Simposio de Análisis Económico” in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
