California State University San Marcos invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in Economics; ABD will be considered if degree is completed by August 2015. Candidates must possess a field in one or more of the JEL classifications identified earlier and be able to teach courses in economic growth and intermediate macroeconomic theory (with emphasis on open-economy macroeconomics and financial markets). Preference will be given to applicants with excellent teaching experience and strong research potential, and to applicants with demonstrated intercultural competence with diverse groups in teaching, research and/or service.
