The Department of Applied Economics at HEC Montreal is seeking applications for standard tenure track or tenured appointments in the following fields: macroeconomics and applied microeconomics.

For appointment at the Assistant Professor level, the candidate must have a Ph.D. (or indication of imminent completion) in a relevant field, and demonstrate excellence or clear promise of excellence in teaching and in research. For appointment at the Associate or Full Professor level, the candidate must have a Ph.D., a proven record of outstanding research and excellence in teaching, and a track record of effective Ph.D. supervision. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active program of research, teaching, graduate supervision, and service.

Candidates should note that courses are taught mainly in French but also in English and in Spanish and that fluency in French is required.
