The Health Policy and Management Department at the Yale School of Public Health is seeking applications for a new tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the area of health care management. We welcome applicants with different disciplinary backgrounds including, but not limited, to organizational behavior and theory, health services research, medical sociology, operations management, strategy, finance, economics, and public health.
Candidates must have a doctoral degree by the start of the faculty appointment and a record of scholarly accomplishments as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals or the ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals. The selected candidate will be expected to conduct high quality organizational/management research, teach Masters-level and doctoral-level students, and maintain an externally funded research program.
The successful candidate will join the faculty of the Health Care Management Program within the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Yale School of Public Health (YSPH). Joint appointments with the Yale School of Management may be possible depending on the candidate’s experience and background.
