The Department of Economics at Emory University seeks to hire several economists as part of its planned expansion. Among various searches, we would like to fill a position in microeconomics at the rank of assistant or beginning associate professor. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in economics (or be near completion), evidence of strong scholarship, and an active research agenda. Strong teaching at graduate and undergraduate levels is expected. We are particularly looking for candidates with strong training and interest in microeconomic theory, as teaching graduate theory courses is expected. The starting date for the position is Fall 2015.
