The Mexican Central Bank is interested in hiring experienced or newly qualified PhDs in economics, finance or related fields for its headquarters in Mexico City to work at its Directorate General of Financial Stability. The main tasks of the potential candidates would be to carry out high-quality policy-oriented research, both for publication in refereed journals and to guide policy decisions, as well as to produce reports for senior management. While not required, a full command of spoken and written Spanish is desirable. Bank of Mexico provides an excellent working and research environment. Salary and benefits are competitive.

We will be interviewing selected candidates at the January 2015 ASSA meetings in Boston.
