Kansas State University invites applications for a tenure-track opening beginning August 2015 at the assistant professor level in the field of public economics. Candidates are expected to provide quality teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, publish in leading journals and contribute to the Department's Ph.D. program. Preference will be given to candidates conducting microeconometric-based research in public economics, however, all exceptional candidates in the field of public economics will be given consideration. The typical teaching load is two courses per semester.

The position requires a Ph.D. or expected completion by fall 2015. Candidates should have a commitment to work with a wide range of constituents and a diverse student population.
