The Economic Research Department seeks to hire new or experienced Ph.D. economists with research interests in macroeconomics and monetary economics, international economics, and labor economics. Primary responsibilities include advising the Bank's president and senior management on policy issues, presenting research findings in peer-reviewed journals, and writing articles for the Bank's Economic Review. Excellent resources include a collaborative work environment, high-quality research assistants, and a high performance computing environment. The Research Department also organizes active seminar, visiting scholar, and visiting co-author programs. The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is an equal-opportunity employer.
