The Economics Program invites applications for up to three positions at the rank of advanced assistant, associate or full professor. Applicants must have completed a PhD in economics at the time of application, possess evidence of high-quality teaching for a minimum of two years post-PhD (one year for the macroeconomics position) and have a record of high quality publications commensurate with the rank of appointment. Preference will be given to those who currently teach in the PhD core, have demonstrated a capacity for PhD supervision and placement as well as successful grant procurement. Macroeconomics applicants must have a research agenda that is policy-relevant, data-intensive and reliant on econometric methodology. Macroeconomics applicants with strong applied econometric skills will receive preference.

The search committee will begin evaluating applications immediately and will continue until the positions are filled. Early applicants may be interviewed before the ASSA meetings and hiring decisions may be made prior to the ASSA meetings.
