The Department of Economics at Beloit College invites applications for two full-time tenure track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning fall semester 2015. Candidates must have completed or be close to completion of a Ph.D. in economics. A strong commitment to excellence in teaching is a must. Teaching responsibilities may include courses in quantitative methods, international economics, economics of race, gender, and ethnicity, environmental economics, international business, public economics, economic history, law and economics, behavioral economics, finance, and area studies such as Africa, Latin America. The successful candidate also will be expected to contribute to all-college programs, such as first- and second-year seminars, interdisciplinary studies, and/or international education.
