The Department of Economics at the University of Louisville seeks applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position starting August 1, 2015. Pending University approval, there could be an additional opening with same job requirements. The applicant must have a Ph.D. by August 1, 2015. We are looking for a microeconomist with an emphasis in applied econometrics. Candidates must demonstrate a strong research potential and a clear commitment to excellence in teaching. Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate and graduate-level business statistics courses with the opportunity to develop other teaching opportunities. Teaching load and salary are competitive. Summer research support may be negotiated. The Department will have members of its recruiting committee at the Boston ASSA meetings in January 2015.
