The Department of Economics (http://www.clarku.edu/departments/econ) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in economic development beginning in Fall 2015. Successful applicants will be able to teach courses in economic development at the Ph.D. and undergraduate levels and have an interest in contributing to the core undergraduate curriculum in economics as well and an interdisciplinary international development program. Excellence in teaching is required. We encourage applications from candidates whose research involves empirical aspects of development. Appointment as an assistant professor requires completion of the Ph.D. in economics or a related field prior to August 31, 2015.

Applicants should submit a cover letter, current CV, three letters of recommendation, job market paper as well as other completed research paper(s), transcripts, and evidence of teaching effectiveness.
