Openings for new Ph.D. and experienced research economists in fields of domestic and international economics and finance; monetary policy; bank supervision and supervisory policy development; and payment systems. Ph.D. in economics or finance required; candidates currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in economics or finance must be nearing completion of their dissertation. Citizenship status may be a consideration for some positions.

Academic-type research and policy analysis performed in the following areas: all areas of macroeconomics and monetary economics; domestic and international financial institutions and markets; forecasting; banking and finance; financial stability and macro-prudential supervision; risk management and capital adequacy; applied and theoretical econometrics; public finance; microeconomics of household and business behavior; industrial organization; economic measurement; dynamic stochastic general equilibrium models of U.S. and foreign economies; international trade and finance; open economy macroeconomics; foreign economies, both advanced and emerging; and payment systems.
