The Oregon Department of Revenue, Research Section, is recruiting for a Tax Economist (Economist 3) in Salem, Oregon. This section develops statistical information on tax programs and provides consultation to the Department’s Director and Governor on economic issues. This position develops revenue-related databases, publishes statistical reports, and conducts special or recurrent economic studies and analysis to facilitate both short and long-range revenue and taxation planning. We prefer a candidate with a Masters or PhD in economics, statistics, or related fields and an interest in working with large revenue-related data sets.
