The Department of Economics has three tenure-track openings at the rank of assistant professor. Fields of specialization are open, with special interest in macroeconomics and political economy. Candidates should have, or expect to complete, a PhD in economics by July 1, 2015, and they must have an exceptional record of teaching and research. The successful candidates will conduct research, teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, mentor students, and perform service to the Department, the University, and the profession. Salary, research support, teaching load, and benefits are competitive.
