Lycoming College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in Economics beginning Fall 2015. As part of their 3-3 course load, our liberal arts environment allows faculty members to create new classes in line with their specialization. In addition to teaching introductory courses, candidates should be capable and interested in teaching courses in several of the JEL classifications listed above.
Located in Williamsport, Pennsylvania in the Susquehanna Valley, Lycoming College (www.lycoming.edu) is a four-year, private institution dedicated to the liberal arts education of 1,400 undergraduate students in a residential environment.
Required Experience and Qualifications: Ph.D. in economics is required but ABDs near their final stage of completion will be considered. Strong commitment to teaching is essential.
