The Department of Economics at the Villanova School of Business seeks to fill one tenure-track position beginning Fall 2015 at the level of Assistant Professor. We are especially interested in hiring an applied macroeconomist with strong empirical research skills. Candidates are expected to have completed the Ph.D. degree before the appointment starts. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to high quality research and possess excellent teaching skills.

The Villanova School of Business is committed to both scholarly research and teaching. In addition to maintaining an active research agenda leading to high quality publications, the appointment involves teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels with a teaching load of two courses per semester.
