The Department of Economics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY seeks applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics. The department seeks candidates with backgrounds in applied microeconomics, who will complement strengths in the economics of innovation and technological change, industrial organization, economic geography, environmental economics, and economic history. Candidates with backgrounds in international trade and macroeconomics who relate to the above fields, are sought as well. Candidates must have an earned Ph.D.,or foreign degree equivalent, in Economics or related field, no later than August 2016.
