The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, beginning in the fall of 2015. Applicants must possess a strong desire to teach and pursue research in a liberal arts environment with a reputation for excellent teaching. The successful candidate will teach both required and elective courses. Highest priority fields are experimental and behavioral economics, game theory, and the economics of gender and race. The primary need among required courses is statistics, although there will be opportunities to teach introductory and intermediate micro theory courses. The college offers excellent research support. The standard teaching load is 5 courses per year, normally with 2 to 3 preps. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Economics, although advanced ABDs may be considered.
