The Department of Economics is pleased to announce the creation of the Slater Family Professorship in Behavioral Economics. Expected rank is full professor with tenure. Candidates must have an international reputation in research and an exceptional record of teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful candidate will conduct research, teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, advise students, and perform service to the department, the University, and the profession. Behavioral approaches in all recognized areas of economics will receive equal consideration, as will candidates whose work cuts across disciplinary boundaries.
