The Taubman Center for Public Policy at Brown University seeks strong candidates for a Lecturer position, beginning July 1, 2013. This is a full-time faculty position with teaching, advising, and administrative responsibilities for the graduate and undergraduate programs. The initial appointment is for 3 years and is renewable every three years. The Taubman Center offers a Masters in Public Affairs (MPA), Masters in Public Policy (MPP), and an undergraduate concentration in public policy. Applicants must have a doctoral degree (granted or in hand by August 2013) in political science, public policy, economics, sociology or a closely related field. Preference will be given to candidates who have the ability to teach core courses in the MPA, MPP, and undergraduate programs and applicants with teaching and research interests in the Center's program areas, including education policy, health policy, urban policy, environmental policy, and social policy.
