Harvard Associate Professor Lauren Cohen is looking to hire a full time research assistant to begin in the summer of 2012 and to work for one year. This position will entail close collaboration on various empirical research projects analyzing the relationships between governments, legislation, and firms.

Candidates should have a long-term interest in pursuing research related to economics and finance. The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree, display skills in mathematics, statistics, and economics, and be looking for full-time research experience before applying to a graduate degree program in economics or finance.

Preference will be given to detail-oriented applicants with programming experience in SAS or Stata. Python or Perl coding ability is a plus, but not required.

Annual salary is $45,000, with benefits.
