The Department of Economics in the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Economics for the 2021-22 academic year.

The individual must have a research field in public economics or the economics of gender. The primary teaching requirement will be an upper-level elective course in public economics or the economics of gender and one or more service courses, either statistics/econometrics or principles. The teaching load is 3-2 (with 1 or 2 preps each term) and applicants must have at least one year of successful teaching experience as a sole instructor, not as a teaching assistant. The University provides a generous parental leave policy and is responsive to the needs of dual career couples.
