The Department of Economics at Union College invites applications for a full-time tenure track position, beginning September 1, 2019.

We are looking for candidates whose research specializes in any of the above fields and who has strong interests in teaching macroeconomics courses. The successful applicant should have a Ph.D. by September 1, 2019, an established record of teaching excellence and a strong research program.

Union College is a highly selective liberal arts college located in the Capital Region of the State of New York and offers highly competitive salary and benefits. Our teaching load is six courses over three ten-week terms per year, up to two of which may take the form of supervision of undergraduate theses. A faculty member normally teaches four classroom courses and supervises eight two-term senior theses per year. Applicants are invited to describe in their cover letter how they will advise undergraduate theses and how they may incorporate students in their own research.
