Does anyone have any additional information about the UMichigan Information School posting?  (https://www.aeaweb.org/joe/listing.php?JOE_ID=111460750)

The description fits my interests, but also doesn't seem to align with any of the actual faculty openings on the page it links to.

Any insight would be appreciated--thx!

Thanks for your question! I am an experimental economist at the University of Michigan School of Information. When you click on the JOE posting to apply, it will take you to the School of Information recruiting webpage. There you will see four links. Click on the top one:

Tenure-track faculty positions in data science.

This will take you to this page: https://www.si.umich.edu/node/15567 where you will see another seven positions. Economists should apply for the "Machine learning and causal inference" position. If your work overlaps with other position descriptions, please mention it in your cover letter.

When you scroll down to "How to Apply", you will see: All application materials must be submitted electronically to: https://apply.interfolio.com/54067.

Since we are recruiting from both economics and computer science, please make sure that you mention "Machine learning and causal inference" in your cover letter. This will ensure that your application is routed to one of the economists in the school for evaluation. We will be interviewing at the ASSA. Hope this helps!
