CSWEP Board Member - Amalia Miller

Amalia MillerAmalia Miller is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Virginia and an Adjunct Economist at the RAND Corporation. She earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from MIT with a minor in Women's Studies. Dr. Miller's research interests include health economics, labor economics, public finance, and law and economics, with a focus on issues and policies affecting women and children. Her current research studies women in non-traditional occupations and information technology diffusion in medical care. Dr. Miller has received research funding from the NSF, NIH, and AHRQ and was awarded the 2013 IZA Young Labor Economist Award, the 2012 Garfield Economic Impact Award, and the 2006 Arrow Prize for Junior Economists.
