CSMGEP: Ivan Vidangos
Ivan Vidangos is a Principal Economist in the Labor Markets section of the Division of Research and Statistics at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. His work at the Board centers on analysis and research on the U.S. labor market. He has also served as Economist and Senior Economist in the Fiscal Analysis and Flow of Funds sections of the same division, where his work concentrated on U.S. fiscal policy and public pensions, respectively. His research is primarily focused on questions pertaining to earnings and employment dynamics, income risk, and economic inequality. He has also conducted research on racial and ethnic disparities in the labor market and heterogeneity in the economic returns to college education. His research has been featured in the Financial Times, New York Times, Washington Post, Bloomberg, Forbes, and other media outlets. Dr. Vidangos grew up in Bolivia and holds a Ph.D. in economics from Yale University.
