| Subject: | The topic of the second meeting will be "The Evolution Central Banks: Lessons for the Future". Its goal is to provide a systematic picture of the link between the emergence of central banks and central bank policies throughout the world. Topics may include, but are not limited to: the emergence of lending of last resort, the relations between asset price bubbles and monetary policy, the provision of liquidity and the financial market, profitability and foreign exchange intervention, ownership and governance, etc. While there are no geographical restrictions, priority will be given to young European scholars and topics with special relevance to Europe.
