| Subject: | This conference is devoted to the study of (in)stability of political and economic systems in a European context against the background of the financial, economic and debt crisis. While certain disciplines (such as law, economics, political science and history) have developed a sound understanding for preconditions of stability, the isolated disciplinary approaches is striking. The stability of a political system, however, is related to economic stability and the stability of the legal system. Against this background this conference follows an innovative way: "Stability" and "Instability" are understood as phenomena that can only be explained satisfactorily by interdisciplinary approaches.
