Full Text of JOE Listing:
The Department of Economics at the University of Cincinnati seeks applications for a tenure-track advanced assistant professor position starting August 15, 2014. Experience and prior publications desired, PhD by August 15, 2014 is required We are looking for an applied macroeconomist with research that overlaps in the areas of regional or real estate/financial economics, and that includes expertise in time series econometrics. Candidates must show strong research potential and a clear commitment to excellence in teaching at undergraduate, masters, and PhD levels. The normal teaching load is 2 courses per semester with release time possible for very active research agenda. To ensure full consideration, applications must be received by December 10, 2013. The selection committee will continue to accept applications until the position is filled.
