The Department of Economics at the University of Cincinnati located in the Carl H. Lindner College of Business, seeks applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position starting August 15, 2014. Evidence of refereed publications is preferred; PhD by August 15, 2014 is required. We are looking for an applied microeconomist with research that overlaps in the areas of industrial organization or consumer economics, and that includes expertise in econometrics. Candidates must show strong research potential and a clear commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate, masters, and PhD levels. The normal teaching load is 2 courses per semester with release time possible for a very active research agenda. To ensure full consideration, applications must be received by December 10, 2013.
