The Division of Health Policy and Management, School of Public Health, University of Minnesota seeks candidates for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in health economics.

Applicants must have a doctorate in economics or a closely-related field (e.g., health policy with a specialization in economics); strong methodological skills; strong written and oral English communication skills; ability to collaborate with others in a multi-disciplinary research department; and the potential for excellence in research, teaching, and advising masters and doctoral students. Both new PhDs and those with several years of postgraduate experience are encouraged to apply.

Duties include: teach and advise MHA, MPH, MS, and/or PhD students; collaborate with and lead efforts to design research projects, acquire funding and conduct high-quality research in health economics; publish peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and/or books; and serve on Division, School, University, and community committees.

This 12-month, 100% time appointment offers the standard University benefits. Salary is based on experience and qualifications. The position is open until filled; review of applications begins immediately.
